Tiny Pukhtadozi Behri Cushion
Designed by Tashi Goldring exclusively for Artisan Links. This piece is inspired by the vast use of geometrical patterns in traditional Afghan embroideries.‘Pukhta’ means strong and ‘dozi’ means embroidery – the technique originated in Uzbekistan until Nomadic Uzbeks took the tradition to neighbouring countries such as Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan. Traditionally the vibrant coloured pillow covers are decorated in the living room or guestroom.
